CROOKED WILLOW FARMS WEDDING | COLORADO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER |PART TWO

DEAN + DELANEY CROOKED WILLOW FARMS WEDDING

LARKSPUR, COLORADO

COLORADO MOUNTAIN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER - PART TWO -

THE WEDDING DAY

by the bride

I am a perfectionist. I've been planning our wedding for over 18 months: meticulously handling every detail, making lists on lists, sending too many emails to vendors, etc. There wasn't a piece of our wedding that wasn't planned. I did this so I knew if something went wrong or changed, it was because God wanted it that way (not because I didn't plan or forgot to do something). So when 2:00 PM came and the skies turned black, I knew our ceremony was meant to be inside because God wanted it there. It was meant to start 45 minutes late (due to a bus with 55 guests inside being stuck on the highway in traffic) because God wanted it to start then. I believe everything that went wrong, happened for a reason. It happened to remind me our day was not about the outdoor ceremony, the flowers, the weather, the start time, the food, the photo booth, or anything else. It was solely about me marrying my best friend and life partner. I stayed extremely calm (very unlike me) waiting for the final guest bus to arrive so I could run down the aisle and start my forever with Dean. I can't tell you how or why, but the whole day felt incredibly peaceful for me. We both had an amazing day, from the beautiful ceremony that was perfect for us, to dancing our hearts out all night after. We were surrounded by our closest friends and family, and felt more love than we could ever describe. Looking back, we are both so happy our day went the way it did. We felt the presence of God and loved ones looking down on us more than ever. I think I can speak for both of us when I say it truly felt like a fairy tale wedding.

THE RECEPTION

I didn't share any entrance photos, just because we already have a very full two blog posts on this wedding... but I did have to share these guys. Best entrance ever.

Loved the switch!

Then we moved onto the speeches from Dean's Best Man, Delaney's Maid of Honor and Delaney's Dad.

We had some very sweet and emotional parent dances and then the party began!

One of our favorite DJs - Jeff the owner of Springs Sounds was our host for the night

and did a fantastic job as always!

All of their guests said goodbye with cowbells as Dean and Delaney

departed their reception.

Thank you guys for checking out part two! We hope you loved it as much as we do!

VENDOR LIST COMING SOON!
