& Destination Wedding Photographer - Callie Riesling We kicked off the New Year the same way we ended the year before. With Clark and Christine. In 2017 we wrapped up our year on the side of a 14'er with Clark and Christine for their Engagement Session and we started our year a few days after New Years in Black Forest at the Wedgewood shooting their beautiful wedding. Of course they wanted snow and Colorado didn't give t

DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY Being a destination wedding photographer, you never really know where you will end up. I've shot in London, I've shot in Phoenix. I've shot in Puerto Rico, I've shot in Texas, I've shot at Disney World.
I've spent years myself to this particular sleepy little surf town in southern California where I grew up catching sand crabs, learning to surf, eating Have'a Chips from Pier
If you follow any large wedding blogs you've undoubtedly seen a few locales that are constantly featured. Iceland, Mexico, Santorini, Banff, Jamaica... I'm sure you know what I am talking about.
Those of you who know me that I am a HUGE travel nerd. I love traveling for destination weddings, I love traveling with my family. I love walks through gardens and on beaches. I love hiking in rain forests and up mountains. I love cities and the middle of nowhere. I just love adven
Vail. That gorgeous town snuggled up right at the base of an even more gorgeous mountain.
Vail. Named the 'King of American Ski Resorts' by Forbes.
World famous Vail.
Although the winter is what made Vail famous, I think the summer months deserve some major attention.
Thankfully, my bride and groom thought the same thing - even though winter is what originally brought the groom, Michael to Colorado. Michael grew up in Minnesota. As a kid, his family would come to Vail t
Let me just start off by saying WOW! This was seriously such an amazing and beautiful wedding and I am so glad I was able to be a part of it. Brian and Annie are such a wonderful couple and their love and joy shows in EVERY photo! Brian graduated from West Point and is in the Army and Annie is a second grade teacher. This is a bit of a destination wedding since they live in Philadelphia, PA. Brian and Annie love snowboarding at Keystone, so they chose to do their engagement p
I was so thrilled when Brian and Annie asked me if I could also photograph their Keystone Ranch Hayride Rehearsal Dinner. Their families came from all over the country to attend their wedding, so Brian and Annie had a very large group for their rehearsal dinner. We took a hayride with gorgeous and sweet horses up to Keystone's Original Homestead through Soda Creek Valley. My assistant Jen and I took the hayride up with them and photographed everyone having a blast drinking, d
So lets start by talking about emotion.
I've photographed well over 100 weddings and I think Teo was one of the most sincerely loving grooms I have ever seen. He was so genuinely lost in the moment during their vows and so very full of joy. Even with his rugged and manly exterior, he let his emotions overcome him and get lost in the moment. That is something I don't see often, even with the high amount of weddings I have been a part of. I've seen a few grooms tear up and qui
Chris and Martha chose their home church for their gorgeous ceremony where Martha even sings in the choir on Sundays! The First United Methodist Church in Downtown Colorado Springs is a gorgeous location for a wedding and has several beautiful locations outside for the portraits, which is pretty rare for many churches! The lighting was perfect and we were blessed with sunshine and good weather! (Which in Colorado, you never know! We could have had a blizzard!)

Kim and Marie were married on the 18th floor of the Daniels & Fisher Tower, the clock tower that ascends high into the sky above the 16th Street Mall in Downtown Denver.
This stunning and unique venue spans the 17th to the 21st floor plus the additional getting ready suite on it's own floor and the crow's nest even further beyond the 21st floor.
Kim and Marie's wedding was a fun filled day with family and friends and the stunning, modern backdrop of the clock faces. Clock
We had such a fantastic time in California when we visited a little while back and I was just thrilled to book such a wonderful couple while we were visiting! Chris and Nikki are your typical southern California surfers. They love the ocean, the sun and the sand and their amazing chemistry made for some fabulous photos! This session is something that I have wanted to do since I started my business almost 5 years ago and it is even better than I had dreamed! They say that the
First of all, lets get this all straight so you guys know who I am talking about! Jordan is the handsome guy in this session and Jordyn is the gorgeous lady! So anyway, I did Jordan's senior portraits a while back and I was ecstatic when he contacted me several months ago to set up this surprise engagement session. He is in the Navy and was coming back for leave before his big move to Spain, where he was being stationed. He told Jordyn that he wanted to take some nice photos
We love getting fabulous emails telling us how awesome we are! Lol! It was such a wonderful email to come home to after our little getaway to Southern California! We can't wait to hang that one up in our office!
