& Destination Wedding Photographer - Callie Riesling We kicked off the New Year the same way we ended the year before. With Clark and Christine. In 2017 we wrapped up our year on the side of a 14'er with Clark and Christine for their Engagement Session and we started our year a few days after New Years in Black Forest at the Wedgewood shooting their beautiful wedding. Of course they wanted snow and Colorado didn't give t
Originally, Britney and I came together on Instagram. She started following my wedding photography and I loved seeing her adorable son Zane (the same age as my son) and her adventures as a Baseball WAG. For those who don't know, WAGS are wives and girlfriends of professional athletes. Britney was engaged to Terrance Gore, who had just got his first World Series Ring with the Kansas City Royals. We continued to connect and soon enough, we were finalizing our plans to fly down
If you follow any large wedding blogs you've undoubtedly seen a few locales that are constantly featured. Iceland, Mexico, Santorini, Banff, Jamaica... I'm sure you know what I am talking about.
Those of you who know me that I am a HUGE travel nerd. I love traveling for destination weddings, I love traveling with my family. I love walks through gardens and on beaches. I love hiking in rain forests and up mountains. I love cities and the middle of nowhere. I just love adven
This gorgeous destination wedding took all of us, including the bride and groom from Colorado to Santa Barbara, CA and some guests from even further. From the start, Josh and Dvetta had a beautiful and intimate wedding day in mind. When they booked with me, they knew that they would be staying at the stunning Fess Parker Double Tree right across the street from the crashing Pacific waves. They were talking about getting married there, but wanted my opinion since I know Califo
Let me just start off by saying WOW! This was seriously such an amazing and beautiful wedding and I am so glad I was able to be a part of it. Brian and Annie are such a wonderful couple and their love and joy shows in EVERY photo! Brian graduated from West Point and is in the Army and Annie is a second grade teacher. This is a bit of a destination wedding since they live in Philadelphia, PA. Brian and Annie love snowboarding at Keystone, so they chose to do their engagement p
I was so thrilled when Brian and Annie asked me if I could also photograph their Keystone Ranch Hayride Rehearsal Dinner. Their families came from all over the country to attend their wedding, so Brian and Annie had a very large group for their rehearsal dinner. We took a hayride with gorgeous and sweet horses up to Keystone's Original Homestead through Soda Creek Valley. My assistant Jen and I took the hayride up with them and photographed everyone having a blast drinking, d
So lets start by talking about emotion.
I've photographed well over 100 weddings and I think Teo was one of the most sincerely loving grooms I have ever seen. He was so genuinely lost in the moment during their vows and so very full of joy. Even with his rugged and manly exterior, he let his emotions overcome him and get lost in the moment. That is something I don't see often, even with the high amount of weddings I have been a part of. I've seen a few grooms tear up and qui
These gorgeous photos were taken on Teo + Leslie's private ranch in Evergreen!

Kevin and Tessa's gorgeous Summer Solstice wedding took place at Dry Gulch in Breckenridge, CO high on the mountainside with the beautiful peaks in the distance! This was one of our very favorite weddings... so we shared a LOT of photos here! We hope you enjoy them! A huge thank you to the wonderful Christine Ashburn our wonderful event planner from THE SOIRÉE STUDIO! Christine goes above and beyond to take care of her clients! Loved working with her! Venue - Dry Gulch, Breck
Patrick and Sam were married the end of July at the Wedgewood Black Forest (formerly the Pinery Colorado Springs). They flew all the way from their new home in Switzerland to their old home of Colorado to get married with their friends and family present! As you can see by their sweet demeanor and affection, they are really awesome people... so they even had some friends come to their wedding from locations all over the world including some from Europe and South America! Thei
Dan graduated from the USAFA just a few days before their wedding! They timed it so that their family would be able to be in town for both, so it was a very busy couple of days for Dan and Janelle! They were married at Farish Recreational Area which is on US Air Force Academy land in Woodland Park, CO! Which has the most beautiful view of Pikes Peak! After their amazing Ceremony and some bridal portraits on Farish, we headed to Garden of the Gods to take some more couple port
Mike and Kelly are both graduates of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Since they are both pilots, they decided that aviation themed details couldn't be more perfect! They were married at the absolutely stunning Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, Colorado... just down the street from the famous Rocky Mountain National Park! The Della Terra Mountain Chateau has a beautiful outdoor ceremony location where we even had a few deer visit us right bef
Chris and Martha chose their home church for their gorgeous ceremony where Martha even sings in the choir on Sundays! The First United Methodist Church in Downtown Colorado Springs is a gorgeous location for a wedding and has several beautiful locations outside for the portraits, which is pretty rare for many churches! The lighting was perfect and we were blessed with sunshine and good weather! (Which in Colorado, you never know! We could have had a blizzard!)
